Human Rights: All treatment programs are conducted in a manner consistent with basic human rights. Even in cases where Kennebec Counseling clinicians are involved in a patient's Petition for Involuntary Commitment, such procedures will be conducted in the least restrictive manner possible, with full respect for the patient's rights, dignity, and legitimate protection needs of the individual and community. All service consumers are guaranteed freedom from abuse, neglect, exploitation, humiliation, and retaliation.
Accessibility Services: Kennebec Counseling provides free aids and services to help people with disabilities communicate effectively with us. These include:
Qualified sign language interpreters.
Written information in accessible formats (e.g., large print, electronic formats).
Free language services for those whose primary language is not English, including:
Qualified interpreters.
Information written in other languages.
