Amber Rogers brings a dynamic blend of professional expertise and personal experience to her role as Executive Assistant. With a background in leadership, process improvement, and advocacy, Amber excels at providing high-level support to drive organizational success.
In addition to her role at Kennebec Counseling Services, Amber is also a Project Assistant at the Catherine Cutler Institute, where she contributes to impactful initiatives focused on advancing research and policy in behavioral health. In this role, she supports the development and implementation of programs that address critical needs within the behavioral health workforce, leveraging her expertise in data management, communication, and organizational efficiency. Her work is instrumental in driving the institute's mission to improve health and well-being across communities.
Amber’s earlier professional experience includes working as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), where she gained firsthand insight into the needs of individuals requiring care. This role deepened her empathy and sharpened her attention to detail, both of which continue to inform her work in the behavioral health field. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Amber served as a Service Manager, where she developed skills in employee training, process improvement, and vendor communication, all while maintaining operational excellence in a fast-paced environment.
Amber's dedication to the behavioral health field is deeply personal. She has been a lifelong advocate for her youngest brother, who has engaged with the behavioral health system since childhood. Her firsthand experiences navigating this system and advocating for his needs have enriched her understanding of the challenges faced by individuals with disabilities and their families.
In her free time, Amber enjoys spending quality time with her family, including her two children, coaching youth sports, and camping adventures. Her enthusiasm for community engagement and connection mirrors her professional commitment to fostering collaboration and support.
